It was Friday morning when we woke up to the fog covered prairie where I call home. It was fun to have a change and we all took the chance to shoot photos, and as the fog began to stick to everything it only seemed to get prettier. Literally we took over a hundred pictures. Saturday came and it was still foggy, then by last night it cleared off and I was glad to be able to see the landscape around me at last with a clear bright moon above.
When it's foggy and everything looks gray and you can only see up to a fourth of a mile away it makes me think that that is the way our life is, we can't see what is ahead, only God knows and we must trust him to lead us through to a brighter day up ahead like the song says.
It may seem like a month or two
Since you've looked up into a sky of blue
Doubts may try to settle in your soul
Even now, friend, God is in control
Just have faith the sun will shine again
The dark clouds will vanish and the rain will end
There's a brighter day 'round the bend
Just have faith the sun will shine again
-Jim Brady
Yeah, I know this tree seems to get a lot of pictures, but it's the highlight of the farm when it comes to taking these kind of pictures. I think it is one of tallest trees on the farm.
There is field behind this, but it is invisible because of the fog.
I just love this next picture, it's the same grass :-)
The sun did shine again, it rose this morning as usual and while it was still cold enough so that the frost stayed on everything we got the rest of these pictures. They turned out
quite nice, I thought.
By the way; all these photo haven't been cropped, I left the same lighting
as they were taken.
