Walking With God

I like to spend some time alone outside with the Lord in prayer, something I have started doing. It seems like for some reason you almost seem a little closer to God when you can see the sky; Maybe that's just me but I took these pictures while I was out behind the house alone. I cherish such times and want to keep it that way. May your walk with the Lord grow stronger each day as you spend it in prayer and in the Word of God. My sister reinformed me the other day that if you spend one day in God's court it is better than a thousand, and how true that is. 'If we only had a generation of young people who would rise up and stand out for Jesus', were the words often spoken by the former youth Pastor, Bro. Derek Hagland of Grace Baptist Church in Gaylord, MI. that I listened to in time past. He has his broadcasts on our local Christian Radio station, Heaven 88.7 FM. Let us all take a stand for Jesus and be proud to be called a Christian.
