Know ye that the Lord he is God...enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:3-4

Paul was weary on his journey his body frail and weak
The apostle knew the end was near as he dipped his pen in ink
He wrote Timothy, my son, I have fought the fight of faith
Carry on what I've begun but most of all I pray
Preach the word, preach the Cross,
Preach redemption to a lost and dying world
Lift your voice unashamed of the gospel of his name
Until all have heard, Preach the Word
Paul and Timothy are gone but the letter still remains
And the mission that was written down calls out to us today
Lift the name of Jesus higher until the whole world knows
The story of amazing grace we are messengers of hope
Preach the word, preach the Cross,
Preach redemption to a lost and dying world
Lift your voice unashamed of the gospel of his name
Preach the word

Spring
Many from the area and across the state regions may remember the '2009 Flood Fight' which was a hazard to many but not so much for us since we don't live real near any creeks or rivers that rose far beyond their banks.
The spring of 2010 flooded things real good as well, we just took it easy and drove around for some pictures :)
The James River was still high in mid-June. Note: the Pelican. Okay, I'll post some closer pictures of it soon. This spring everything is dry so far and warming early as it seems but we will see how the weather holds out until the work of summer starts!! :-)
Through the heat, the cold, the good and the bad, the trials and the numberless blessings God has been good to us without a doubt. Through the wet and through the dry God has always met our needs, we have never gone without. What a wonderful God we serve. Oh, may I continue to cling to Him through it all. Looking at these older pictures of times past I am thankful for what God has brought me through and may God help me to continue to rely on him for everything. Don't let someone tell you wrong; God is the best friend that you will ever find in the world. Praise the Lord for what he has done for me.
This is the creek the flows along the north side of town.
The river filled the valley and flooded anything in it's way.
Last spring (2011) had some of the same look, the river was high again.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.
The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

All In One Day - Wednesday
Pictures captured from the window as we were driving.
I thought the snow on the hills looked nice. I'm sure these hills are small compared to some but when that is the biggest I've seen in a while I couldn't help getting a picture or two. On clear days we see these hills from home that are about 23 miles to the west by sight.
After driving by these cars a few times I decided to snap a shot on the way by the next time. Here it is :)
And so I got a picture of these train cars, too. These are different ones though.
This was the usual sight that we drove that day along Highway 281 between Edgeley and Monango. Throughout the day the clouds grew thinner and the sun finally came out later on. We stayed busy and put on about 248 miles that day.
This last picture may give you a glimpse of what we did all day :-) I had fun!

Sunset of this Afternoon
I know, it's rare and is the first time I have taken pictures and posted them the same day, but today was a mix of work and fun all in one and the only pictures taken were of the sunset and I liked it, too. Love making memories, especially listening and watching the train go by to the north headed east while finishing up a few things before supper :-)
