Pictures
were taken on June 20th.
Evening
came after chores and since it was the first day of summer I decided to take
some pictures of the sunset since it probably was as far north as it would get
this year. If I'm right, the first day of summer is the longest day of the
year, so I just wanted a picture of the sunset that day since I probably won't
get the same chance again. It was plain with no special clouds, but it seemed
to mean everything to me. There was hardly the slightest breeze, neither was it
hot. I wandered down the country road west just far enough to get the
powerlines out of most of the pictures.
I
picked this :)
The
battery exhausted on me, so that was the end of taking pictures; so I slowly
headed back to the ditch. I looked back a few times knowing that it was the end
of another day. The sun never slows down, another day is coming and I must go
on. As I looked back at town and saw the elevator I thought of Brandon, who
lives with his family in town. It makes me smile to think that God wants to
answer our prayers if we would only wait on Him.
Wait
on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I
say, on the Lord.
Psalm
27:14
