And...that means a lot of other things, too. :-)
Spring is starting to show up around here and the first leaves are beginning to show green from a distance. Closeup details are always nice like these here.
As a farmgirl I have learned that work comes at any time of day or night, and as you can see here I portray tired from nights up which I could easily let bother me but I'm content with it because it's my responsability and always turns out a joy and precious memories somewhere down the road. I am thankful that I still have time in God's Word (as you can see in the picture) and love memorizing scripture. About the first of April God gave a keen desire for His Word and I began memorizing verses and so far I have memorized Psalm 32:1; 119:97; 51:9-12; Isaiah 9:6; Psalm 119:136; 100 (6 verses); Romans 10:9-10; Psalm 119:169; I Peter 3:18; Romans 6:23 and Psalm 27:14 in that order which averages not quite a verse every day and a half, not to brag, but I just love it. Many of which the Lord gave me through trails and blessings that makes me love Him more. Please don't hesitate to look them up in your Bible only if you have a King James, if not, don't even bother. There has never been a more enjoyable time to me than reading the Bible, but more than that is getting something out of it that I can aply to my daily life. Oh, and let me tell you that if you are born again the Bible way and dive into the Word of God expecting something from it, God will give you more than you can imagine. I just love getting into the routine of going over my verses that I am memorizing on a daily basis and being reminded of what the Lord has done for me. Praise the Lord! God only wants a willing servant who He can work through.
Awesome! That's great! Definitely agree about the King James Bible.:D Memorizing verses can really come in handy. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Allison! I am glad you agree about the KJV because it seems rare to find someone who will read out of a King James any more. Don't change for anyone :-) I love you,
ReplyDeleteThat's very true! It seems like people read other bibles like the NIV and so on...and they don't even care if it's missing verses. I will never change my Bible!
