Panther pulling the Sled
I had fun
refreshing his memory of how to pull a sled, he has had it done before, but it
was fun to see him remember what to do since it had been so long.
I didn't ride
much since it was too hard for him, so after finishing we turned him out to
play. Since he had so much energy we brought the other two out and they had a
lot of fun.
Yes, I had fun even though it was a little bit of a work out for both of us. The sad part is that stress is hard on Panther because of his ulcers he deals with regularly, we learned the hard way and that it's best not to work him much, so we have learned to make things fun for him, watch his diet and keep him dewormed regularly and it seems to help. I think he is about the smartest horse I have seen in a while. It's unbeleivable how much English he knows. He knows to look pretty for his picture, he watches videos on the camera and how to make you laugh at him when he is being bad so he can get out of trouble. The list goes on but he's so fun! :-) He's my brothers baby.
